Warranty Policies

Products sold on the WEBSITE have a limited warranty that covers manufacturing defects. GRINDMEL guarantees the quality and perfect functioning of its products. Warranty coverage may vary depending on the type of product, its nature, and the manufacturer. This information will be specified in the individual product documentation or on the purchase invoice. During the warranty period, GRINDMEL insures the equipment and components it supplies that, under normal conditions of storage and use, present manufacturing defects. Therefore, it is obligated to perform the appropriate technical evaluation. If a damaged part is replaced, the warranty for the original part with the manufacturing defect will expire. We undertake to inform the customer about the application of the warranty within a maximum of 10 business days from receipt of the product at our facilities. The evaluation will depend on the specific conditions of each case.

However, certain products may require an estimated resolution time of 4 to 20 weeks due to their origin and verification process. If the resolution time for your product is less than this range, GRINDMEL will contact the customer via email or any other appropriate means, ensuring effective and timely communication.

The warranty will NOT apply in the event that the equipment presents defects related to accidents, normal wear and tear outside the established useful life times, incorrect installation, handling, inadequate use or storage, operated in a different way with the voltages defined by the manufacturer, assembly carried out in non-compliance with technical standards, negligent transport by the customer, and products on offer, in the event that the Buyer has carried out repairs or alterations on his own account, or by companies not qualified by GRINDMEL . Any direct or indirect damage that is caused to the buyer or third parties by the equipment supplied It will not be the responsibility of GRINDMEL , its responsibility is limited solely and exclusively to the repair of the damaged product. 

In the case of accessories and/or equipment not manufactured in-house (e.g., electric drives, pneumatic drives, etc.), the warranty granted by GRINDMEL shall be limited to that granted by the suppliers of these materials, including their validity period.

Aspects that the customer should consider when purchasing any of our products:

  1. Product Availability : Delivery of products subject to warranty will depend on the availability of the item in inventory.
  2. Out-of-Warranty Products : If the product does not meet the warranty criteria and the customer chooses not to cover the repair costs, it will be returned in the same condition as it was received. The customer will have 30 calendar days to collect the product once informed of the warranty termination. After this time, claims will not be accepted, and GRINDMEL may handle the product as it deems appropriate.
  3. Products under warranty : If the product meets the warranty requirements, a replacement will be available for pickup at our facilities. The customer will have 60 calendar days from notification of the warranty termination to pick up the product. If the product is not picked up within the established timeframe, the company may dispose of it without further claims.
  4. Damage to authorized packaging : If the product is damaged due to defects in the packaging authorized by GRINDMEL , a review will be carried out to determine compliance with the established guarantees.
