The single mechanical seal of the Alfa Laval LKH centrifugal pump is a sanitary solution designed for efficiency and easy maintenance. Positioned externally to the pump, it prevents direct contact of the product with difficult-to-clean components. Its front-loading design allows for quick and easy replacement.

This seal is notable for its interchangeability: the same LKH single seal is compatible with most LKH pump models and all SolidC models, simplifying spare parts inventory by allowing easy switching between single, single with lubrication, and double seals.
