1/8" EPDM SHEET

The ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) sheet, with a nominal thickness of 1/8" (3.2 mm), is a synthetic elastomer recognized for its high resistance to degradation by ozone, ultraviolet (UV) radiation and exposure to weathering.

This material maintains its physical properties within an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 120 °C. Its molecular composition gives it excellent elasticity and low compression set, allowing it to efficiently recover its original shape after being deformed.

The chemical properties of EPDM sheeting include resistance to acids, alkalis, alcohols, and ketones. Because of these characteristics, it is a commonly specified material for manufacturing gaskets, seals, diaphragms, and insulation applications in industrial and outdoor environments. The 1/8" thickness provides an optimal balance between flexibility and mechanical strength.
