The CDC Pneumatics PGT 5/16-1/4 Reducing Tee is a push-in fitting in a T-configuration (three-way) with integrated diameter reduction, designed to split or join compressed air lines by connecting 5/16" hoses to two ports and a 1/4" hose to the third port, all without tools. It allows a main pneumatic line to be branched off to a smaller diameter branch using a single compact component, eliminating the need for a standard tee plus a separate reducer. Manufactured in South Korea by CDC Pneumatics.
Advantage of the Reducing Tee vs. Standard Tee + Reducer
- All-in-one: Combines the function of a tee and a reducer in a single component, reducing the number of fittings in the circuit
- Faster installation: A single connection instead of two separate components
- Smaller footprint: Compact profile ideal for panels and machinery with limited space
- Push-in: Tool-free assembly and disassembly on all three ports
Applications
- Branching a main pneumatic line (5/16") to a smaller diameter branch (1/4")
- Distribution of compressed air to multiple actuators with different hose diameters
- Pneumatic panels, manifolds, and automation cabinets
- Industrial machinery and OEM equipment with multi-branch pneumatic circuits
- Any application requiring a T-branch with diameter reduction in pneumatic hoses
