The MILWAUKEE® RED HELIX™ 29-Piece Cobalt Drill Bit Set (48-89-2332) is designed for drilling applications in hard metals. The QUAD EDGE™ tip geometry provides precise hole initiation and features four cutting edges that break chips into smaller sections. This facilitates faster material evacuation and reduces heat generation, optimizing cutting performance.

The VARIABLE HELIX™ flute features a helical angle that transitions from 35° to 15° along the drill bit, ensuring accelerated chip evacuation. In addition, the larger diameter tapered core increases torsional rigidity and reduces the likelihood of premature fractures.

These drill bits are suitable for a variety of metals, including stainless steel, cast iron, and heavy sheet metal. They offer up to 15 times greater durability compared to standard black oxide drill bits. The set comes in a modular accessory case, compatible with the PACKOUT™ storage system.
