HANSEN HS8A SOLENOID VALVE

The Hantech HS8A solenoid valve is a CSA-certified, low-power, flanged, compact, pilot-operated, heavy-duty refrigeration solenoid valve.

It offers superior resistance to dirt, erosion, and corrosion compared to other similar coolant valves, thanks to a Teflon piston seal that controls dirt and improved, erosion-resistant flow passages in its body.

A patented coating on the valve body provides unmatched corrosion protection. The HS8A is used for on/off control of coolant flow.

When the coil is energized, a pressure difference across the piston opens the valve seat. When it is de-energized, a spring closes the main Teflon seat, completely stopping the flow.

This valve is ideal as a liquid line solenoid valve and is compatible with R22, R134a, CO2 and other compatible refrigerants.
